How to pick the correct shampoo for you!

Okay, so for this post, i will give the steps first, then talk about how to find out what hair type you are. AND THEN i will say HOW to actually go to a store and find a shampoo and conditioner.

  1. Find out if your hair is dry or oily.
  2. if you have dyed hair, you have to use a colored shampoo.
  3. Find out if you have dandruff
  4. find out if you have frizzy hair
  5. find out if you have hair volume problems
HOW TO FIND OUT IF...

you hair is oily- you hair will get greasy easily, like the day after you wash your hair.

Your hair is dry- your hair doesn't get greasy until a week or so without washing, it is dry and crisp when you touch it.

you have dandruff- you have white stuff at your scalp? it isn't lice? its dandruff

you have frizzy hair- you hair puffs up or gets a little curly if released to water or humidity.

you have volume problems- your hair is flat and limp when your hair is dry.

If you have...

oily hair- find a strong shampoo and let it sit in you hair for a while before washing out (see more in post how to wash your hair)

dry hair- find a hydrating shampoo

Dandruff- find a dandruff shampoo. head and shoulders has one and selsum blue is a brand for dandruff

fizzy hair- use frizz control spray after you use a hydrating shampoo

volume problems- find a voluming shampoo
