Sheer Nail Polish

Hey everyone! Recently, I've been liking to wear my nail polish more sheer. This means I like to put on 1 coat and let my natural nail color seek through it. Heres an example with essie's steel-ing the scene:

As you can see, there is nail polish on and you can see a little of its color, but still my natural nail color. 2 or more coats/the true color of this polish can be seen here.
I think this is an elegant way to dress up your nails, but still look natural!

Thanks for reading, Liz

Review: Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo

Hello everyone, todays post is going to be a review on the Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo. I recently finished a can of this, and I am ready to review! So enjoy, Liz

Pros
  1. Absorbs Oil
  2. 5oz is about $3 at my local target
  3. 5oz can lasted me about 3-4months, using it every other day
  4. A little goes a long way
  5. Smells OK- its bearable, makes your hair smell better, but not the best scent
  6. Doesn't feel too heavy, when using just the right amount
Cons
  1. Leaves a slight grey powder behind, if not used correctly (and if you have darker hair, like me)
  2. If you use too much it feels heavy
How to use for darker hair:
It took me a while to figure out how to use this properly, so it wouldn't leave a grey cast/powder behind. The way I used it to make it work was to spray it on your roots and oily areas, and let it sit in your hair for 5-10mins, the longer the better. During this time you can do your makeup, wash your face...ect. After at least 5mins, I start to rub it into my roots. Its a lot more easy to rub in after its been sitting in your hair, which is what I experienced. This should leave little to no grey cast.

Overall: Really good dry shampoo for the price. If you have dark hair, make sure to let it sit in your hair a bit before rubbing in! If used the wrong way, it does leave a grey powder behind!
4stars! Would recommend and buy again!

Define Your Natural Crease with a Smokey eye

Defining and "contouring" your crease can be hard. Hopefully these pictures of what I did can help you figure out what to do to make your eyes pop.  Liz

Look ahead.
Get your dark color and put it right in the crease/the hollows of your eyes
Blend
This will look a lot like a milder brown smokey eye, because it is. Its a smokey with an extremely defines crease, to teach you how to contour your eyeshape. If you don't want this as a smokey eye, don't blend it out as much and only apply shadow to the crease.
